About Bialla Winery
Perched 1700 feet above the Napa Valley in the Atlas Peak Appellation, our boutique winery enjoys exquisite terroir: grapes thrive above the fog line in lava-rich soil, drinking in a nurturing balance of rain and sunshine; vines grow hardy in perfect day and nighttime temperatures, clinging to preferred slopes, strengthened by proper drainage.
This influential blend of environmental ingredients produces the finest fruit in the world—a local treasure being discovered by established Napa Valley wineries. Since new Atlas Peak Appellation brands have emerged, the region is commanding tremendous respect in the cult-wine category. We're proud to be included in this elite collection.
Our premier wine from this luscious location is Cabernet Sauvignon. Barreled in 100% French Oak, it has a 15.3% alcohol content. Powerful, yet ever-so smooth, it begins with a brisk awakening, continues with sophisticated complexity, and finishes with unforgettable strength.
Our wine will be 100% handmade starting in 2009 and will be completely hand de-stemmed—unheard of in Napa or in the wine industry anywhere. We are striving to make the finest cult cabernet ever, never satisfied with status quo or just selling out all our inventory.
Our last score from the Wine Spectator was a 94 and we feel we are well on our way .
We make 500 cases max and sell out quickly each year. We suggest you get on our mailing list.
Bialla Vineyards barreled its first harvest and quietly sold a very limited amount on a first-come-first-served basis in fall 2005. Add your name to our private mailing list to receive more information.
